The Suzuki LT250r was a sport ATV manufactured between 1985 and 1992. It combined a lightweight frame and good handling, with a liquid cooled 250cc two-stroke engine.
Commonly known as the Quadracer, it revolutionized the ATV industry.[citation needed] Before this model was released, the ATV world was dominated by three-wheelers. Although the four-stroke LT250E Quadrunner was released a year earlier, it was not well accepted by racing enthusiasts that were hesitant to adopt the heavier four wheelers over their three wheelers. Then came the LT250R.
Most of the advances made by Suzuki with this quad have been overshadowed by the Honda TRX250r, which was released in 1986. During these early years though, they were treated as equals, with the Honda being preferred by most because of its apparent handling characteristics. Even though both model names ended with "250r", the Honda walked away with the nickname.
The LT250r setup is what is commonly used in todays sport quads, such as:- 2 wheel rear drive with a solid axle- "A-Arm" front suspension- Powerful lightweight engine- Manual transmission and clutch- Hydraulic disc brakes, two in front, one for the rear- Chain drive

In an apparent attention to weight by engineers, it came with many aluminum parts: swingarm, rear axle carrier, engine cases, front spindles, rear shock link. But the overall advantage in weight (compared to most other quads) is the simplicity of design.
In 85 the Suzuki Lt250R QuadRacer became the first high-proformance four-wheeler

"Capoeira or the Dance of War" drawn by Johann Moritz Rugendas (17931838)
Capoeira Angola is the traditional style of Capoeira. It is usually, although not always, characterized by playful, ritualized games, which combine elements of dancing, combat, and music, while stressing interaction between the two players and the musicians and observers. It also contains the African roots and methods of capoeira.

History
Capoeira has its roots in Central and West African cultures that were brought to Brazil through the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. There are diverse theories about the origins of the art form. One of the most popular was introduced by 閱燽ano Neves e Sousa in 1965. This theory was subsequently adopted and developed by Lu闊 da Camara Cascudo in his book Folclore do Brasil in 1967.
The theory concerns a practice known as "N'golo," or the Dance of the Zebras. The movements of N'golo mimicked the movements of fighting zebras. The N'golo dance was practiced by young warriors competing for the hand of a young woman of marriagable age in a puberty rite known as efundula. The specific group cited by Neves e Sousa was the Mucupe (sometimes spelled Mucope) in Southern Angola. Whoever had a more impressive performance won the bride and was excused from having to pay a dowry.
The 'N'golo theory maintains that in the port of Benguela, and also once in Brasil, the dance developed into a foot-fighting style that was used by both bandits and slaves for defence and attack. The N'golo and its 'cognates' are argued to have been been used by Africans and Afro-Brazilians to maintain themselves spiritually and physically under the harsh circumstances of slavery and plantation life. It developed mainly in three places: Recife, Rio de Janeiro, and the state of Bahia. While in the first two places, Capoeira was said to be violent, and had no music, in Bahia it became more of a ritualized game, with a strong musical element. It should be noted that much of what is known of Rio de Janeiro capoeira in the 1900s and earlier derives only from police reports, which naturally included no information about whether capoeira in Rio was done to music or not. Various police orders were given to search capoeiristas carrying instruments, usually 'marimbas', however.
The Bahian style of the late 19th and early 20th century became what is today referred to as Capoeira Angola. The term Capoeira Regional, on the other hand, was originally popularized by Mestre Bimba in the 1930s in an attempt to differentiate this newer style from the older form of Capoeira Angola. Mestre Pastinha was the founding Mestre of Brazil's first officially recognized capoeira Angola academy, the 'Centro Esportivo de Capoeira Angola', which was originated in 1941 and gained government recognition in 1952. This was the start of the domestication of the street culture of Capoeira Angola.
Since the 1960s the N'golo theory has become popular amongst some practitioners of capoeira Angola, although it is not accepted by all scholars of the art form. Considerable academic discussion of the N'golo has occurred. Some books which relate specifically to the origins of capoeira Angola and discuss the N'golo theory are: Nestor Capoeira's: 'Capoeira Roots of the Fight-Dance-Game', Waldeloir Rego's excellent: 'Capoeira Angola Ensaio Socio-Etnografico' (in Portuguese), Gerard Taylor's in depth study of Capoeira's African antecedents: 'Capoeira The Jogo de Angola from Luanda to Cyberspace Volume One', J. Lowell Lewis's 'Ring of Liberation', Matthias R?hrig Assun??o's 'Capoeira The History of an Afro-Brazilian Martial Art' and an interesting essay by, T.J Desch Obi in 'Central Africans and Cultural Transformations in the American Diaspora' edited by Linda M. Heywood.
While many practitioners in Bahia used their knowledge of capoeira to fight, the elements of Capoeira Angola can be practiced without solely relying on the martial elements.
Since the rise of Capoeira Regional as practiced by the group Senzala in Rio de Janeiro (the name came from Mestre Bimba's school which originally taught what was called the "luta regional baiana" or the "Regional Fight of the state of Bahia"), the popularity of Capoeira Angola declined in the face of the flashier and far more overtly martial style. Apparently very little thought was given to the roots of capoeira by the Grupo Senzala, who's style of Capoeira 'Regional' became popular in Rio de janeiro and Southern Brazil in the 1960s and 1970s. It was assumed by many, including masters of the Angola style, that 'Angola' was seeing a slow slide toward becoming a historical footnote.
By the end of the 1970s however, many players of Capoeira Regional began to seek out the older Angola masters in order to connect with and understand the roots...(and so on)

Different kinds of gaskets, #4 indicating a V4 head gasket.

A replacement head gasket sitting loosely on top of a four cylinder engine block. Once positioned correctly the cylinder head will be bolted down on top of it.
A head gasket is a gasket that sits between the engine block and cylinder head in an internal combustion engine. Its purpose is to seal the cylinders to ensure maximum compression and avoid leakage of coolant or engine oil into the cylinders; as such, it is the most critical sealing application in any engine, and, as part of the combustion chamber, it shares the same strength requirements as other combustion chamber components.[1]

Head gasket types
MLS - stands for "Multiple Layers Steel,". Most modern head engines are produced with MLS gaskets. These typically consist of three layers of steel.
The contact faces are usually coated with a rubber-like coating such as Viton that adheres to the cylinder block and cylinder head respectively whilst the thicker center layer is bare.
Solid copper - A solid sheet of copper, and typically requires special machining called 'o-ringing' that places a piece of wire around the circumference of the cylinder to bite into the copper. When this is performed copper gaskets are extremely durable. Recently companies have started producing copper gaskets with integral sealing wires permitting their retrofit into engines without the removal of the engine block for machine work.
Composite -- an older technology. Typically these are made from asbestos or graphite but are more prone to blowouts than newer gaskets. Asbestos gaskets are becoming increasingly rare due to health concerns.[2]
Elastomeric - a gasket type used by Rover on their K Series engines. It utilised a steel core plate with molded in place silicon rubber beads to seal oil and coolant passages. The bores were sealed by rolled steel fire rings in a more conventional manner. The idea behind the gasket design was to produce a production version of the technology used in F1 engines at the time. The original application of the gasket on the smaller versions of the K Series was very successful. However, an engine redesign resulted in persistent problems with the design - the joint interface became unstable and the gasket could not cope.
Gasket problems
Occasionally, the compression in the cylinder will cause a leak to form in the gasket and the gasket will have to be replaced, or severe damage can take place (a "blown" head gasket). This problem has been exacerbated by the use of aluminum rather than iron cylinder heads; while lighter than iron, aluminum has a much greater thermal expansion rate, which in turn causes a great deal more stress to be placed on the head gasket. Engine makers have responded to this by adding a non-stick coating such as Teflon to the surface of the head gasket.
If the gasket fails, a variety of problems can occur, from compression loss (leading to power reduction, or a rough engine), to exhaust gases being forced into the cooling system, leading to the engine overheating and increased engine wear due to the motor oil being mixed with antifreeze. Coolant can leak into the cylinders, causing the exhaust to issue steam[3] and the catalytic converter to be damaged. If a very large amount of coolant does this, hydrolock can occur, causing extensive engine damage. Sometimes, all that may happen when a head gasket is blown is excessive steam erupting from the tailpipe; yet the engine may act and drive like normal, until all the coolant is gone engine overheating results.

A damaged head gasket can cause compression to leak between cylinders.
Head gasket condition can be investigated by checking the compression pressure with a pressure gauge, or better, a leak-down test, and/or noting any indication of combustion gasses in the cooling system on a water-cooled engine. Oil mixed with coolant and excessive coolant loss with no apparent cause, or presence of carbon monoxide or hydrocarbon gases in the expansion tank of the cooling system can also be signs of head gasket problems.
Driving with a blown head gasket (if possible) can cause additional extensive damage due to overheating or loss of lubrication.
Blue exhaust smoke may be indicative of oil-burning.

Solaris Containers (including Solaris Zones) is an implementation of operating system-level virtualization technology first made available in 2005 as part of Solaris 10.
A Solaris Container is the combination of system resource controls and the boundary separation provided by zones. Zones act as completely isolated virtual servers within a single operating system instance. By consolidating multiple sets of application services onto one system and by placing each into isolated virtual server containers, system administrators can reduce cost and provide all the same protections of separate machines on a single machine.

Terminology
There is always one zone defined, named the "global" zone. Zones hosted by a global zone are known as "non-global zones" but are sometimes just called "zones". The term "local zone" is specifically discouraged, since in this usage "local" is not an antonym of "global". The global zone encompasses all processes running on the system, whether or not these processes are running within a non-global zone. Unless otherwise noted, "zone" will refer to non-global zones in this article.
Description
Each zone has its own node name, virtual network interfaces, and storage assigned to it; there is no requirement for a zone to have any minimum amount of dedicated hardware other than the disk storage necessary for its unique configuration. Specifically, it does not require a dedicated CPU, memory, physical network interface or HBA, although any of these can be allocated specifically to one zone.
Each zone has a security boundary surrounding it which prevents a process associated with one zone from interacting with or observing processes in other zones. Each zone can be configured with its own separate user list. The system automatically manages user ID conflicts; that is, two zones on a system could have a user ID 10000 defined, and each would be mapped to its own unique global identifier.
A zone can be assigned to a resource pool (processor set plus scheduling class) to guarantee certain usage, or can be given shares via fair-share scheduling. A zone can be in one of the following states:
Configured: configuration was completed and committed
Installed: the packages have been successfully installed
Ready: the virtual platform has been established
Running: the zone booted successfully and is now running
Shutting down: the zone is in the process of shutting down - this is a temporary state, leading to "Down"
Down: the zone has completed the shut down process and is down - this is a temporary state, leading to "Installed"
Some programs cannot be executed from within a non-global zone; typically this is because the application requires privileges that cannot be granted within a container. As a zone does not have its own separate kernel (in contrast to a hardware virtual machine), applications that require direct manipulation of kernel features, such as the ability to directly read or alter kernel memory space, may not work inside of a container.
Resources needed
Zones induce a very low overhead on CPU and memory. Currently a maximum of 8191 non-global zones can be created within a single operating system instance. "Sparse Zones", in which most filesystem content is shared with the global zone, can take as little as 50MB of disk space. "Whole Root Zones", in which each zone has its own copy of its operating system files, may occupy anywhere from several hundred megabytes to several gigabytes, depending on installed software.
Even with Whole Root Zones, disk space requirements can be negligible if the zone's OS file system is a ZFS clone of the global zone image, since only the blocks different from a snapshot image need to be stored on disk; this method also makes it possible to create new zones in a few seconds.
Branded zones
Although all zones on the system share a common kernel, an additional feature set has been added called branded zones (BrandZ for short), or non-native zones. This allows individual zones to emulate an OS environment other than the native one of the global OS.[1] The non-native environment is dubbed a "brand", which plugs into the BrandZ framework.
The brand for a zone is set at the time the zone is created, and is implemented with interposition points within the OS kernel that can be used to change the behavior of syscalls, process loading, thread creation, and other elements.
Three brands that have been implemented are Solaris Containers for Linux Applications, Solaris 8 Containers, and Solaris 9 Containers. The first is available when Solaris is run on x86 systems, and...(and so on)

An example (open and closed) of a typical gun safe.
A gun safe is a secure and protective storage container for one or more firearms, and/or ammunition. Gun safes are primarily used to prevent access to unauthorized or unqualified parties, for burglary protection, and, in more capable safes, to protect the contents from damage during a flood or fire. Access prevention is required by law in many places, necessitating a gun lock, metal gun cabinet, or gun safe. Gun safes have largely replaced the gun cabinets made of fine stained wood with etched glass fronts used for display that were commonly used decades ago, although some gun safes are made to resemble such gun cabinets.

Manufacturers and features
Gun safes come in many shapes and sizes, and may include additional security features such as fire or water protection, voice-activated lock, and fingerprint identification. The internal locking mechanisms differ in both strength and quality, and manufacturers boast about different aspects of their respective safes.
Some major gun safe manufacturers include:
American Security Products (AMSEC)
Brown Safe Manufacturing, Inc.
Browning Arms Company
Cannon
Fort Knox
Liberty Safe
SentrySafe
Better gun safes in the United States are tested by Underwriters Laboratory (UL), with those safes achieving UL certification being given Residential Security Container (RSC) certifications by UL. Various grades of RSC certification exist, measured in the time that the safe provides protection against forced entry. The primary advantage of buying a safe having UL certification, to a gun safe buyer, is to make certain that minimum security capabilities exist for the safe, as well as to guarantee 10,000 openings/closings of the safe lock are expected under normal use. The use of a large number of active bolts in the door along all sides of the door is also an advantage against burglary, although attacks against the sides, top, or bottom of the safe can overcome otherwise largely very secure gun safes.
Electronic locks as well as mechanical locks are available on many models of safes. The highest reliability exists for mechanical locks, although they are often more time consuming to open than electronic locks. Some mechanical combination locks have key locks, too, that lock the combination lock dial from turning, thereby precluding casual attempts by anyone with physical access to the safe from trying multiple combinations in the hopes of unlocking the safe.
Some safes provide only protection against burglary, with no fire rating or flood rating. More expensive safes can also provide protection against burglary, fire, and flood, with even protection against rust being provided by an electrical heater located inside the safe to keep the interior of the safe warmed to above the dew point, precluding the formation of moisture from the air from rusting guns. Such heaters are required for safes providing fire protection, as the fire lining holds moisture as a means of providing protection against fire. Most gun safes that provide only protection against burglary, with no fire lining, require no heater as long as they are stored in dry areas inside a home for which environmental changes are modest. Stored in an unheated garage or shed, however, even gun safes without fire linings typically require an electrical heater be installed to prevent rust from forming on firearms.
At the high end of the market, vault doors are available for creating walk-in gun safes or vaults in a dedicated room or gun armory in one's home. Such rooms are also sometimes used as a dual-use gun safe or panic room, or even as a dedicated shelter for use in the case of a tornado or hurricane.
Likewise, at the high end of the market are gun safes with a wood veneer and very thick tempered glass, that resemble the wooden display cabinets used for displaying guns in gun cabinets made of wood with etched glass fronts that were commonly used in decades past.
Some gun safes are hidden from obvious view, being built with wooden armoire furniture coverings, or an exterior resembling a cedar chest, i.e., a long horizontal chest commonly used for storing linens, for gun safes intended for open display in a room, such that casual entry by home repairmen does not disclose the existence of a gun safe at the residence. False walls with hinges located at one end of closets are also sometimes used to hide gun safes, although simply installing a gun safe in an existing closet with a door that closes can achieve much of the same advantages to prevent home repairmen from becoming aware of the existence of a gun safe.
Potential risk
Although rare, large gun safes may pose a hazardous risk to small...(and so on)
