Kinder Bueno
Kinder Bueno is a chocolate bar from Ferrero. It is a hazelnut cream filled wafer with a chocolate covering. Kinder Bueno originally comes from Italy, where it was first released in 1990. It became available in Latin America (Brazil, Argentina and Mexico), Malaysia, Israel and Greece in the mid-1990s, in Germany and France starting in 1999, and has been common in Canada and the United Kingdom since 2004. A few stores in the United States carry it, but because of its rarity, it can be very expensive. Kinder Bueno is only sold in packs of two and six.
On the 20th of August 2008 Kinder released a new sort of Kinder Bueno. Kinder Bueno White is available in The UK, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Lithuania, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Greece, Hungary, Germany, Brazil, Belgium, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Singapore, Finland, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.
In 2007, Kinder Bueno was relaunched aimed at an adolescent market with a new series of adverts "a little bit of what you fancy" aired in the UK and Ireland.
Kinder is the German word for "children". Bueno is the Spanish word for "good".

Trivia
when turned upside-down the word bueno turns into ouanq, which when pronounced phonetically, sounds like the word wank, many think this could be a hidden joke from the designers of the wrapper, it is not known which definition of wank it refers to but the small splash of white liquid above the word would suggest the slang term for masturbation.

Climate
Due to the altitude Kusatsu's annual average temperature is 7 鐧, with a maximum temperature of around 30 鐧 during summer and a minimum temperature of -14 鐧 in winter. The main rainy season is from June to September.
Population, economy, and infrastructure
Kusatsu has a population of 7419, which is slowly decreasing. The town's main income is tourism (about 90% of the working population is employed in the tertiary sector), with very little industry and almost no agriculture. Kusatsu's infrastructure is well developed: Besides road 292, there are bus connections from Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi station, Shinjuku, Tokyo, and other areas. During the winter season the streets are kept free of snow using Onsen water.
Onsen
Kusatsu is one of the most popular hot springs resorts in Japan and regularly achieves high rankings in Japan-wide surveys.
There are about 100 Onsen in Kusatsu with a total amount of about 34,000 liters water per minute pouring out of the ground. The water is sulfurous and acid. The hot springs are said to help cure the following ailments: arthralgia, stiff shoulders, paralysis, hardenings, bruises, sprains, chronic indigestion, hemorrhoids, chills, arteriosclerosis, burns, chronic gynecological disorders.
The water from the Onsen is used not only for bathing but also for heating of the city's primary and secondary schools, the municipal welfare center, the streets during winter and many households, as well as for the municipal swimming pool.
Sister cities
Kusatsu has numerous sister cities in Japan and around the world. In Japan these are mostly Onsen towns or seaside resorts such as:
Hayama, Kanagawa
Noboribetsu, Hokkaid?
Gero, Gifu
Arima Onsen
Another sister city is Kusatsu, Shiga.
Outside Japan, Kusatsu has the following sister cities:
Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. The town in which Kusatsu's benefactor Erwin B?lz was born. The contacts with this sister town are the most intensive. There is an annual student exchange.
Neustift, Austria. Winter sports resort town. Contact established through the Austrian national ski team.
Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad, Carlsbad), Czech Republic. Spa resort town, was compared with Kusatsu by B?lz.
Snowy River, Australia. This town is located on the same latitude as Kusatsu, only in the southern hemisphere.
Kusatsu is member of the "Romantic road Japan" (?????????? ,Nihon romanchikku kaid??) from Komoro, Nagano to Nikk?, Tochigi. This road is a "partner road" to the German romantic road.
History
Yayoi period
The legendary origin of Kusatsu goes back to the second century during the Yayoi period. According to the legend, either Yamato Takeru or Yamabushi discovered the hot springs around Kusatsu. There is no historical evidence for either claim, however. But there is evidence that Yamato Takeru named the towns Tsumagoi and Agatsuma after his wife ("tsuma" means "wife" in Japanese). Since both towns are near Kusatsu, we do know that people at least settled near Kusatsu at that time.
Kamakura period
Up to the 12th century there is no specific record of Kusatsu. Local lore recounts that in 1193, Minamoto Yoritomo came to Kusatsu in pursuit of fleeing...(and so on)

Metalhead is a popular term for a devoted fan of heavy metal music.. Heavy metal fans exist in many countries beyond the United Kingdom and United States, where it first developed, especially in Japan, Scandinavia and Brazil and even Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Heavy metal fans have created a strongly masculine 鎻簒clusionary youth community whose core audience in the U.S. and the UK is 鎼榟ite, male, lower class youth [1] In continental Europe metal culture appeals to a more diverse audience, often spanning into the 30s and 40s and more frequently with a middle-class background and a higher cultural profile. However, the metal culture expands across the globe and is not limited to this. Metalheads affirm their membership in the subculture or scene by attending metal concerts, buying albums, and most recently, by contributing to metal websites. [2]
The long hair, leather jackets, and band patches of heavy metal fashion help to encourage a sense of identification within the subculture. [3] Like the music at its cultural core, these fashions have changed over the decades, from tight blue jeans, motorcycle boots and black t-shirts in the late 1970s and early 1980s to black jeans and army fatigue pants, military-style coats, and shaven or short-clipped hairstyles in the 1990s and 2000s. However, not all metal fans are 鎼梚sible members of the heavy metal subculture; some enthusiasts enjoy the music without adopting the metal "look" or some people may choose just to go for the long hair look.

Subculture
Heavy metal fans have created a "subculture of alienation" with its own standards for achieving authenticity within the group.[4] Deena Weinstein鎶 book Heavy Metal: The Music And Its Culture argues that heavy metal 鎼甴as persisted far longer than most genres of rock music due to the growth of an intense 鎼抲bculture which identified with the music. Metal fans formed an 鎻簒clusionary youth community which was distinctive and marginalized from the mainstream society [5]. The heavy metal scene developed a strongly masculine 鎻穙mmunity with shared values, norms, and behaviors. A 鎻穙de of authenticity is central to the heavy metal subculture; this code requires bands to have a 鎻筰sinterest in commercial appeal and radio hits and a refusal to 鎼抏ll out [6]. The metal code also includes 鎼妏position to established authority, and separateness from the rest of society. Fans expect that the metal 鎼畍ocation [for performers] includes total devotion to the music and deep loyalty to the youth subculture that grew up around it鍘; a metal performer must be an 鎼僤ealized representative of the subculture [7].
While the audience for metal is mainly 鎼榟ite, male, lower/middle class youth , this group is 鎼畉olerant of those outside its core demographic base who follow its codes of dress, appearance, and behavior .[8] The activities in the metal subculture include the ritual of attending concerts, buying albums, and most recently, contributing to metal websites. Attending concerts affirms the solidarity of the subculture, as it is one of the ritual activities by which metalheads celebrate their music. [9] Metal magazines help the members of the subculture to connect, find information and evaluations of bands and albums, and 鎻簒press their solidarity [10]. The long hair, leather jackets, and band patches of heavy metal fashion help to encourage a sense of identification within the subculture. However, Weinstein notes that not all metal fans are 鎼梚sible members of the heavy metal subculture.
Authenticity
In the musical subcultures of heavy metal and punk, the word "poseur" (or "poser") is a pejorative term used to describe "a person who habitually pretends to be something he is not."[11] The term is used to refer to a person who adopts the dress, speech, and/or mannerisms of a group or subculture, generally for attaining acceptability within the group, yet who is deemed to not share or understand the values or philosophy of the subculture. In a 1993 profile of heavy metal fans' "subculture of alienation", the author noted that the scene classified some members as "poseurs," that is, heavy metal performers or fans who pretended to be part of the subculture, but who were deemed to lack authenticity and sincerity.[12] Jeffrey Arnett's 1996 book Metalheads: Heavy Metal Music and Adolescent Alienation argues that the heavy metal subculture...(and so on)
